‘The Night Shift’ at Geevor and Levant

Friday 13th May

Join us for a guided tour of Levant and Geevor Tin Mines to find out about ‘The Night Shift’ in these two neighbouring tin mines, both now heritage sites. To add to the atmosphere, the 1840 winding engine at Levant Mine will be steaming – the oldest Cornish mine engine in existence and the only one still in steam! The tour will also include a guided walk of the mining heritage along the coast between the two sites and visit buildings not normally open to the public at Geevor. Meet (and park) at Geevor 7.30pm for a circular walk lasting until 10pm.

£6 per person, £4 children and National Trust members. Over 8s only. Bring your own torch! Sturdy footwear recommended for rough outdoor terrain. Places are limited so please book in advance by phoning 01736 788662 or email bookings@geevor.com
